ARSHAD UMER, MD

Dr. Arshad Umer is a board certified internal medicine physician with a vast 15+ years experience in the practice of medicine. Upon graduating from medical school he completed residency in Internal Medicine at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, an affiliate of New York Medical College in 1995. After completing his residency, Dr. Umer moved to San Luis Obispo, California; where he worked at SLO General Hospital and Family Care Center for a period of 5 years. He demonstrated his clinical skills in both in-patient settings and out-patient care.
In 2001 Dr. Umer relocated his practice to Houston, Texas, where he worked with In-Patient Consultants of Texas, a nation-wide Hospitalist Company. He devoted most of his time in the management of critically ill patients in intensive care at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital and West Houston Medical Center.
Medistop Clinic, a comprehensive out-patient health care system in Houston was founded by Arshad Umer, MD in year 2003. In the last 5 years, Medistop Clinic has assisted hundreds and thousands of patients during their illnesses in Sugar Land area. A new Medistop Clinic is being built in Katy, which is another rapidly growing area in Houston. It is expected to serve this new community of Katy in March 2009. This Ultimate Health Care System will continue to grow in the new neighborhoods of Houston, Texas to meet increasing demand of out-patient clinic system. |
